Help Our People Escape
Description
A 3D sci-fi endless tower defense that combines traditional TD game rules with a maze building mechanic as well as an inventory & loot system.
An alien race is attacking human colonies, you are a defense A.I. tasked with holding them off for as long as possible so that more colonists can escape. Strategically place tower barricades so the enemy takes as long as possible to reach the base and gives you more time to take them down. Enemies will drop items which you can use on your barricades to improve your defenses.
Controls
W/A/S/D -> player drone movement
Q/E -> camera rotation
Scroll wheel up/down -> camera zoom in/out
B -> Toggle building mode
P -> Pause game
LMB -> interact/select
RMB -> cancel/deselect
University game project made by 2 people over a period of 7 weeks (~2 weeks design, 5 weeks development). The game looks best in full screen, 16:9 aspect ratio. The assets used are available for free on the Unity Asset Store, some were manually tweaked to suit our game. All feedback is appreciated.
