V1.4 Update: We made some changes to the UI, added an ending cutscene, placed the controls on a billboard ingame and added a respawn function (for those who had some issues with our beloved El Goblino). A lot of new polish has also been applied to the game. Please try and break it and let us know how you did it!

This section highlights the things you can do in the game. Currently these are written out as it's not always very obvious what the next step is (yet).

After watching the introduction cutscene the player spawns in a dark environment. You can make your way through the entry gate and the lights will come on.

Straight ahead there is a radio tower. At the bottom of this there is a console you have to fix to escape (beat the game).

On your left you can see a sign with "Murder Mansion" written on it. If you go there and approach the front door, you will enter the mansion.

In this mansion you have to solve several puzzles to collect a piece you need to repair the radio tower.

Mansion Walkthrough:

  1. Solve the statue puzzle.
  2. Turn on the breaker (E).
  3. In the room on the left side of the entrance you will find a puzzle, a note on the table gives hints. You need to collect pieces throughout the mansion.
  4. A note on the table before entering the main hall describes the challenging maze up ahead, this also provides information on the enemy.
  5. If you look left while entering the main hall you might be in for a surprise...
  6. Upon entering the main hall if you turn right there is a room on your right side. Here you find a room with a tile puzzle, solve this to find a piece.
  7. On the left side of the main hall there is a maze. As described in the note there are 4 books hidden in de maze, find them and solve the lock at the end of the maze. If you can't figure it out, but want to test the code is the square root of 72743841.
  8. Go back to the chess puzzle room and pick up the freebie puzzle piece in the side room.
  9. Once you have solved the initial chess puzzle a new door will be open. Here you can collect the piece you need to fix the radio.
  10. You can now exit the house from the way you entered.
  11. When back in the main area you can repair the radio.

Great looking world, it definitely gives me the scary vibe. It would be nice if you can actually outrun the monster in the house though, cause right now if u aggro it once, it's gg's

I don't know if it is only with me, but after getting jump-scared game did not progress anymore. I had to restart it.

Hey there! This indeed is something that happens when you get jump-scared. In the next build we will upload this problem will be fixed! :)

The sound design is really nice, and all in all feel of the game is already pretty spooky. Nice job! Some feedback about the pressure plates, it would be nice to know how many pressure plates one must step on in the maze part.

Really nice game! You really manage to achieve the horror in it. The music fits perfectly. The jumpscare was on point for this stage of development. You could increase the speed of the player and for example if he runs, it's more likely enemies to find you, but if you walk you are sneaky and they can't hear you. Just and idea :)

Great level design, lighting is a bit dark though.

Is there anything to do in the house yet? Or still in development?

The description will shortly be updated with a walkthrough so people can follow that until things such as visual or audio queues are implemented.

Great description, was needed indeed. Visual queues for the pressureplates would help alot.
Great game tho, love the horror theme!

Some resetbutton when the monster "kills" you, would be nice add too :)

The walkthrough is pretty handy when there is no indication if I am doing something right or wrong.

As a side note, do not use the same texture for a button where player has to push block to press it, and for buttons on which he can just stand on.  If not for walkthrough I would walk around the mansion with the block till the end.
